The red audio light on JamStix should light up as the bass plays. It integrates well as a midi input to MD, only a few slight changes were needed in mapping to my preference. ![]() I can honestly say after some fenagling with my DAW and Jamstix, it is a pretty cool program. Make sure JamStix is in Jam with Audio mode. I had read somewhere about someone here promoting Jamstix for use with Modo Drum. Add AudioM8 as an (the last) FX on track1. I'm not sure what you mean by latency problem. So, you might have Bass on track1 and JamStix on track2. you need to set the track you have Jasmtix on to monitor, but not record so that you can hear Jamstix if Reaper is stopped. So you need to hit play and stop in order for Jamstix to get that tempo info.Īlso in terms of previewing patterns, fills etc. The first time you insert Jamstix if you haven't pressed play in your host yet, Jamstix hasn't yet received any tempo info from the host. The separate drive for OS is not necessarily going to be a problem for Jamstix, but just generally in terms of streaming audio, if you are streaming multiple wav files for individual tracks, plus the Jamstix samples then it all adds up. ![]() Well your PC should be plenty grunty enough.
